Today, we begin with deep concern and compassion for all the people affected by the ongoing war in the Middle East.

Because these events are serious and can be difficult for younger readers, we are sharing two versions of today’s newspaper. The original edition does not include news about the war, while the second edition explains the conflict and why the Strait of Hormuz, an important global shipping route, matters to the world.

We hope this approach allows families and teachers to choose what feels right for their readers while still helping students understand important global events. Our goal remains the same: helping young readers learn about the world with care, understanding, and respect.
